Ait Bougmmez, High-Atlas
275 €
Nestled in the foothills of the Central High Atlas, the Ait Bougmez valley, known locally as an exceptional region, is cut off from the rest of the world for more than six months of the year due to heavy snowfall.
When spring comes, seedlings, flowers and the migration of storks mark the return of activity in this wonderful valley. Agriculture and livestock are the main activities of the Berbers who live in these regions. Here, everyday life is concentrated in the green valleys where the inhabitants still practice medieval and traditional farming methods.
Traveling in the heart of these peaceful mountains, you will enjoy magnificent panoramas, mountains and rocks varying in shapes and colors, flourishing vegetation, traditional villages offering a glimpse of the daily life of the inhabitants, hard-working and very welcoming.
As they have done for centuries, the Berbers of the Central High Atlas will offer you, throughout this journey, their legendary hospitality and you will carry their smiles in your memories.
